Family Faith Formation

CCASTA will be offering the Sunday Experience for Children program, which is currently in the planning stages, two Sundays a month at each campus.  Your child will only need to attend two gatherings but they are more than welcome to join us every Sunday. The program will start with praise and worship and then we will continue with the Liturgy of the Word, just like Mass. The children in the program will hear the Liturgy of the Word at their level and have a discussion on the message for that Sunday.  Each child will leave with a car-talk paper to use for the week. Special Needs Faith Formation:  We offer a weekly program on Sunday mornings. This program provides shorter sessions, one on one mentors, and parent support. It is available to any person of any age with a learning disability who desires to receive sacraments and faith formation. Inquire now about Special Needs Faith Formation

(Re)Connect: This is the perfect place for your child or youth who is in 4^th grade or older but has not begun faith formation or has not been in faith formation class for several years and is interested in preparing to enter the Confirmation program.  If you are interested in sharing your faith as a catechist, please consider teaching, substituting, or assisting in the classroom. Volunteers are always needed. Catechists must be practicing Catholics who regularly receive the sacraments and are faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Please contact Annemarie Dirndorfer. Volunteers must also be VIRTUS certified in accordance with the Archdiocesan guidelines. Please contact Kim Brown regarding VIRTUS training.
